As members of the Associated Students of the University of California, Merced, we strive to promote and celebrate student success in all aspects of our campus community.
Unfortunately, students are being misguided with inaccurate information framing this organization to be something it is not. The behavior students have demonstrated on online platforms that pit our community against one another is not what this organization stands for and we condemn this behavior.
We are here to serve and provide an efficient and equal representation for the expression of students' views, clarity of opinion, and interests in recognition of the rights of the students in this university community.
We are proud to fund student clubs and organizations that encourage student innovation and student empowerment. Our mission has and will always be to support, expand and celebrate student success by encouraging effective student participation,
In order to provide better representation per our Constitution, Senate us designed to have representatives from all the schools in this great university. We understand the responsibility you have trusted us with and we make transparency key in every initiative.
