ASUCM Announces Strategic Investment Proposal Selections

December 9, 2015

This year ASUCM created a strategic investments committee composed of the President, Treasurer and members of the Senate. This committee was tasked with finding ways in which ASUCM would have the opportunity to engage in cross-campus collaboration with various campus departments.

The strategic investments committee decided that the best way to do so would be to provide departments with financial support for projects that they may be currently working on or planning to start within the semester or year.

The committee set aside an allocation of $125,000 from the rolled over 2014-2015 academic year budget to provide financial assistance for these projects. All campus departments were encouraged to submit a proposal to be considered for funding.
