Our Administration

The Associated Students of the University of California, Merced is the undergraduate student government of the University of California Merced. As the official voice of undergraduate students, ASUCM's primary purpose is to improve student life.

The ASUCM Administration is comprised of the Executive Branch, the Senate and the Court. Members of the Executive Branch and Senate are voted in by the student body at the Spring semester elections. Members of the Court are appointed by the President.

Vacant seats on the Executive Branch are appointed by the newly elected President. If there are vacant seats in the Senate, a special election is held in the following Fall semester and is open to incoming freshmen. Visit each section to read about each groups' responsibilities.
