Donate a Book - Help Promote Literacy in Merced Lecturers and librarians (Local 6366) are collecting books or other literacy items (paper, crayons, etc.) to donate to the Merced Head Start.  Most children who attend do not have a single literacy item in their home.There will be a collection bin on the third floor of COB, near the staircase, and in the Lantern.  Also, a collection bin will be located downtown at Off the Shelf Bookstore, 315 Main St. (Next to Forte Yogurt).Collection dates are September 27th to October 22nd.Any item you can donate is deeply appreciated.
