Good Afternoon Bobcats,
On April 8th, 2015 the ASUCM Senate unanimously approved Resolution 13: Support of the University of California, Merced 2020 Project. I'm sure many of you are aware 2020 project, the University's ambitious plan to enroll 10,000 students by 2020. The 2020 Project is the culmination of UC Merced's presence in the Merced community and Central Valley. The approval of the 2020 Project from the Board of Regents is critical to us moving forward in this plan, and this resolution asserts our support for the Chancellor in her efforts of getting it approved. The resolution will be read at the next Board of Regents meeting by our External Vice President Jefferson Kuoch-Seng. The 2020 plan is a goal all of us Bobcats should rally around and support.
