Project Smile is a student run organization on the UC Merced campus founded on the core principles of education and civic engagement. Collectively, we have dedicated our time to volunteer in the community to raise awareness and to advocate for good oral health as well as general well-being related to current health issues. The Global Dental Relief is an international organization committed to humanitarian works in below poverty communities all around the world. With that stated, they have given us an opportunity to actively be engaged, educated, and provide volunteered services to aid in providing free health and dental care to the desperately needed communities.
