The ASUCM Constitution, in Article V, Section 2 states that “The Senate shall have sixteen (16) members…three-fourths (3/4) of the Senate elections shall occur in the spring semester…the remaining one-fourth (1/4) shall occur within the first half of the following fall semester”. As such, ASUCM Senate has the authority and Constitutional imperative to authorize elections in the Fall semester to maintain ASUCM Senate’s Constitutional membership.
