Background: Dr. Maria Pallavicini, Dean of the School of Natural Sciences, who is currently heading the efforts of building our university’s medical school, suffered the loss of her beloved husband, Gunther Fischer, earlier this month. We, the Associated Students of UC Merced, give our condolence to Dean Pallavicini.

Purpose: To express condolence to Dean Pallavicini on behalf of the undergraduate student body of UC Merced.
