Asian Fest is a fun-filled day that was established at UC Merced as an annual event organized by the Martial Arts Club. This event is a daylong program of student performances, martial arts demonstrations, food and fun. The all-day cultural celebration includes an outdoor fair, performances and entertainment. The outdoor fair (11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) will feature vendors offering a variety of Asian-inspired menu items. The Supershow (5 to 6:30 p.m.) will feature entertainment from a variety of cultural groups, such as Japanese Taiko Drummers, Soran Bushi of CSU Fresno, UC Berkeley's EGO Korean Drummers, the Martial Arts Club of UC Merced, a group from India (who will be touring the US), and more.
